An RFID system is provided to remarkably improve communication between a reader and a tag by performing the communication in synchronization with a hopped frequency of the reader among available hopped channels of all frequency bands in a predetermined time through an RFID protocol. A receiver(110) receives an RF signal from the reader. A signal processor(130) transmits the received RF signal to a transmitter(150) by synchronizing with a communication frequency channel of the received RF signal, and includes frequency generators(131a-131n), phase fixing loops(132a-132n), switches(133a-133n), and the first and second mixer(134a,134n). A controller(135) generates a frequency selection signal for selecting the frequency channel coherent to the hopped frequency of the reader by receiving an output signal of the first and second mixer, and transmits the frequency selection signal to the tag. The transmitter transmits the output signal of the first controller to the tag through the frequency channel used in the switches. |
