PURPOSE:To provide a paint capable of inexpensively forming a golden coating film having excellent adhesive strength, durability, etc. when applied to metallic goods, plastic moldings, etc. and baked, by incorporating xylene in an org. paint in a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:More than 20wt%, pref. at least 30wt% xylene is incorporated in an org. paint compsn. consisting of 1wt% chromate, 5wt% methanol, 10wt% toluene, 30wt% methyl ethyl ketone, a primer, etc. to obtain the desired paint. This paint is applied to the surface of a strap and baked to obtain a coating film which has excellent resistance to perspiration, moisture, etc. and is not peeled off.
