A method for testing a terrestrial DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiver is provided to simultaneously identify a DMB receiving part and a DMB processing part by processing service data obtained from the DMB receiving part, thereby quickly identifying which part has a problem when an error occurs in the receiver. An external interface part(3) of a terrestrial DMB receiver outputs service data. A serial-to-USB(Universal Serial Bus) signal conversion part(4) transmits the outputted service data to a PC(Personal Computer). A part processes the service data received from the PC and outputs the processed service data to a screen. The serial-to-USB signal conversion part converts serial data of a high speed into parallel data of a low speed, converts the parallel data into a USB signal and transmits the USB signal to the PC.
