A sustain driving circuit of a plasma display panel is provided to improve the efficiency of the sustain driving circuit by using a switching unit to be turned on at the end of a rising period of a sustain voltage and an another switching unit to be turned on at the end of a falling period of the sustain voltage, thereby reducing a freewheeling current to be generated at the ends of the rising and falling periods. A sustain driving circuit of a plasma display panel includes a first switching unit and a second switching unit. One terminal of the first switching unit(Sus-high) is connected to one terminal of an inductor(L), wherein the other terminal of the inductor is connected to a panel, and the other terminal of the first switching unit is connected to a sustain driving power source(Vs) for applying a sustain voltage to the panel. One terminal of the second switching unit(Sus-low) is connected to the one terminal of the inductor, and the other terminal of the second switching unit is grounded. At this time, the first switching unit maintains turned-on state while the voltage of the sustain driving power source is applied to the panel, and the second switching unit maintains turned-on state while the ground voltage is applied to the panel.
