An apparatus and a method for feeding quantitative oil into a transmission are provided to prevent degradation of a transmission performance by calculating the volume of an empty space in the transmission where oil is not filled and setting an amount of oil to be fed. Air is supplied into a transmission up to a preset pressure(S1). A preset amount of air is exhausted from the transmission(S2). The volume of an empty space where the transmission is not filled with oil is calculated by a difference between the supplied air into the transmission and the exhausted air therefrom(S3). An amount of oil to be fed is set by comparing the calculated volume of the empty space with a memorized air space volume(S4). An electronic controlled valve of an oil feeding apparatus is opened to feed the oil as the amount of oil to be fed(S5).
