An image display device is provided to form a stable structure by maintaining constantly a gap between an intermediate substrate and a front substrate. A vacuum receptacle includes an intermediate substrate(10), a front substrate(12), and a reinforcing member(14). The front substrate is positioned in front of the intermediate substrate in order to form a first region. A sealing member(22) is formed between the intermediate substrate and the front substrate. The reinforcing member is formed in the rear of the intermediate substrate in order to form a second region. An electron emission unit(18) is provided on one side of the intermediate substrate. A light emission unit is provided on one side of the front substrate. One or more through holes are formed in the intermediate substrate to connect the first region with the second region. A sealing member includes a support frame(24) and a pair of frit layers(26). The support frame includes an outer surface perpendicular to the front substrate and an inner surface having a variable width along a thickness direction of the support frame.
