An apparatus for detecting a front and a side of a vehicle is provided to prevent a headlight of a vehicle from being damaged in a parking of the vehicle by obtaining an enough visual field for a dead zone of the front and the side of the vehicle. An apparatus for detecting a front and a side of a vehicle includes a first camera unit(10), a second camera unit(20), an image processing unit(50), an image display unit(60), and a control unit(40). The first camera unit is installed on a right/left side of the vehicle. The second camera unit is installed on an upper part of the vehicle. The image processing unit is electrically connected to the first camera unit and the second camera unit, and processes image documents which are photographed through the first and second camera units. The image display unit displays the image documents which are processed by the image processing unit. The control unit controls an operation of each of components. The first camera unit is installed on a side mirror of the vehicle.
