ULTRASONIC PROBE AND ITS METHOD OF MANUFACTURING

An ultrasonic probe and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce a size of a casing receiving an ultrasonic transducer by completely matching outer peripheries of first and second acoustic matching layer. An ultrasonic probe includes at least one acoustic matching layer(4) interposed between an acoustic lens(7) and a piezoelectric vibrator(3). An electrode(6) is disposed on a surface of a laminated body consisting of at least one acoustic conforming layer. The laminated body is interposed between the acoustic lens and the piezoelectric vibrator, and the piezoelectric vibrator is electrically connected to the electrode. An electrode leading board is connected to one cross section of the laminated body which is far away from the piezoelectric vibrator.
