A display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to enhance the adhesive strength between each of two display substrates and a sealing member, thereby preventing the separation of the two display substrates, by forming the sealing member in a double layer structure. A first signal line(121) and a second signal line(171) cross each other above a first substrate(110), wherein the first signal line and the second signal line are insulated from each other. An organic thin film transistor is connected to the first signal line and the second signal line. A pixel electrode(191) is connected to the organic thin film transistor. A second substrate(210) is disposed to face the first substrate. A first sealing member(310) is positioned between the first substrate and the second substrate to fix the first substrate and the second substrate. A second sealing member(320) surrounds the first sealing member.
