A step control method of a clothes drier is provided to stabilize quality of products against errors of sensors for detecting temperature of flowing air. A step control method of a clothes drier comprises five steps. The first step is for drying the laundry by driving both a low-temperature heater and a high-temperature heater if a drying step is started(S10,S20). The second step is for judging whether a preset time is past from the start of the drying step(S30). The third step is for drying the laundry by driving only the high-temperature heater when the low-temperature heater is turned off, if the preset time is past(S40). The fourth step is for reading the dried degree of the laundry through an electrode sensor while drying the laundry by drying only the high-temperature heater(S50). The fifth step is for detecting a finished state when the dried degree of the laundry reaches to a desired value, stopping the drying step by turning off both heaters, and cooling to lower inner temperature of the drier heated in the drying step(S60). |
