A control method of a dishwasher is provided to clean a wine glass conveniently by forming a washing course capable of reducing RPM(revolution per minute) of a washing motor, and to improve reliability by washing fragile tableware such as the wine glass securely. A user selects a course of a dishwasher and option through a key input unit(S10). Input of a wine glass washing button by the user is decided(S11), and selection of a first mode for a wine glass washing course is decided in inputting the wine glass washing button(S12). A control unit decreases RPM of a washing motor in cleaning an upper rack in case of selecting the first mode of the wine glass washing course(S13). RPM of the washing motor is reset in choosing the second mode of the wine glass washing course(S14), and tableware is washed by pumping washing water with the washing motor(S15). Tableware is rinsed by operating the washing motor according to predetermined RPM(S16), and is dried after rinsing(S17).
