A wall outlet having a function of breaking leakage of electricity is provided to confirm whether leakage of electricity is generated at a low voltage when a plug of an electric device is inserted into an outlet, and then supply power to the electric device to prevent electric shock and damage of the electric device. A wall outlet(100) with a relay(170) for connecting or disconnecting power lines(L,N) includes a power supply(110), a voltage transformer(193), a zero current transformer(120), an amplifier(130), a circuit driver(140), an electronic device(150), and a driver(160). The power supply supplies driving power when a plug of an electric apparatus is inserted into the outlet. The voltage transformer transforms a commercial voltage into a safety voltage and provides the safety voltage to the plug when the driving power is supplied from the power supply. The zero current transformer detects a current leaking from a power line. The amplifier amplifies the detected leakage current. The circuit driver executes an electric leakage breaking function when the amplified leakage current is detected. The electronic device compares the amplified leakage current with a reference current to determine whether leakage of electricity occurs when the circuit driver executes the electric leakage breaking function. The driver controls the relay to disconnect the power line when the electronic device determines that leakage of electricity occurs.
