The barrier (1) has two vertical sliding rails (3) placed in a usage position (P2). Horizontal tubular rods (2, 6) slide between the sliding rails for being uniformly deployed along the sliding rails in the usage position or for being folded up in a low position in the disengagement position of the barrier. The rods are attached to each other by a flexible traction connection, where the connection is housed inside a groove of each rail.
