Method for realizing switch-over between living broadcasting and time-shifting broadcasting

The method establishes control channel between playing terminal and media server. The method also includes following steps: (1) through the said established control channel, the playing terminal sendsthe received switching command to media server; (2) after receiving the switching command, the media server executes switching between living broadcast and time shifting broadcast. The invention raises switching speed between living broadcast and time shifting broadcast greatly so as to provide better service for user. The invention is in favor of promoting and applying time shifting TV technique.
