A vibrating motor is provided to increase vibration of the motor and to reduce current consumption in driving. A vibrating motor includes a base(13), a case(11), a shaft(15), a rotor(37), a weight body(43), a brush(25), and a magnet(31). The base(13) and the case(11) form an inner space. The shaft(15) is rotatably inserted into the base(13) and the case(11). The rotor(37) is inserted into the shaft(15), rotates, and has a plurality of winding coils(41) and a commutator(27) connected with the winding coils(41). The weight body(43) is attached on a bottom of the rotor(37). The brush(25) is connected with the commutator(27), and is placed at the base(13). The magnet(31) faces the rotor(37).
