A bluish green phosphor with high brightness and long life for an ACPEL(Alternating Current Powder Electroluminescence) device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a life span by absorbing moisture and preventing influence of an electric field. A bluish green phosphor with high brightness and long life for an ACPEL device is represented as a chemical formula of ZnS: Cu, wherein the Zns is used as a base material, the Cu is used as an activator, a copper ion content is 0.0007 -0.002 mol with respect to one mole of the ZnS, and color coordinates are x=0.155 - 0.175 and y=0.3 - 0.4. The bluish green phosphor is coated by a silicon precursor and a titanium precursor as a coating precursor. |
