MANUFACTURING DEVICE AND METHOD OF INSTANT BOILED RICE

A method for manufacturing instant cooked rice with a manufacturing device is provided to offer the flavor of cooked rice equal to that of cooked rice with a pressure cooker and shorten the cooking time by about 8 to 10min from about 30min. The device for making instant cooked rice comprises: a cooking container(210) receiving an instant cooked rice container(250) inside and having at least one concavo-convex part on the opposite surface of the instant cooked rice container; a lid(220) for covering the cooking container; a microwave-irradiating part for irradiating the cooking container with microwave radiation; and a sealing(240) between the cooking container and the lid for cooking container to block space between the interior and exterior of the cooking container. The cooking device has the size of a receiving space larger than that of the instant cooked rice container. The method of making instant cooked rice contains the steps of: filling the cooking container with water; placing the instant cooked rice container containing rice and an article to be cooked into the cooking container containing water; closing the cooking container with the lid; and irradiating the cooking container with microwave radiation to cook the rice.
