The device has a deformable tubular membrane integrated to attachments and presenting a connected edge (21) through which the membrane is sealably connected to a body of a safety or shut-off valve. The membrane and the attachments are assembled on the same side of the valve body, such that a deployment of the attachments is accompanied with a deployment of the membrane by an expansion of the free edge until the application of the free edge on an internal wall of a gas line.
