The device has a flange (4) rotatably movable around a pivot (6) and cooperating with a parking brake. A driving lever (14) has a part (16) that is manually gripped. A slider connection unit (18) connects the lever with the flange in rotation around the pivot. The lever is movable with respect to the flange between a retracted position in which the part is closer to the pivot and an extension position in which the part is spaced from the pivot. A coupling unit (26) couples the movement of the lever between the positions with the movement of the flange around the pivot.
