The packet (1) has a group of articles (2) e.g. bottle, including a base (3) and an opposing top (4) connected by a side wall (7). The group of articles defines opposing front and distal ends that are connected by opposing sides. An upper panel covers the top of the articles and side panels that extend over the sides of the articles against the wall. A side (17) uncovers the end of the group of articles and a body of the articles. A film is provided with a pre-cut for facilitating opening of the packet at the end of the articles so that the articles are accessed by the end.
