PURPOSE:To apply natural irregularity to the surface of the dished rice closed with an upper shutter, by stopping the motion of the upper rotation apparatus and the lowering motion of the rice in the stage of closing the upper shutter of a metering box, and keeping the rice on the upper shutter from compacting with weight. CONSTITUTION:A rotating device 5 for lowering the rice is placed under the hopper 2, and a metering box 7 for rice composed of a cylinder 6 having the top and bottom shutters 8, 9 is connected to the lower end of the hopper 2. A pair of through-holes 11 are bored along the horizontal common center line (a) to the opposite wall 10 of the cylinder 6 at a point just above the upper shutter 8. A light-emitting tube 12 is attached to the outer end of a through-hole 11, and a light-receiving tube 13 is attached to the outer end of the other through-hole 11. The rice-lowering rotating device 5 is driven by the brake motor 14 operated by the signal emitted from the light-receiving tube 13. The shape of the metering box and that of the surface cut with the shutter are eliminated from the upper surface of the dished rice, and the automatic dishing of rice to the state dished with hand can be achieved by this apparatus. |
