The slat (102) has a flank (140) with a clamping groove (108), and another flank (142) with an outgrowth for insertion in a clamping groove (108) of another covering slat (104). A sealing device (100) between the flanks (140, 142) has a base (118) integrated with the outgrowth and a pad (124) which extends up to an upper side (112). The device (100) with an extension (136) is inserted in the groove (108) of the slat (104). An independent claim is also included for a method of installing a covering assembly. |
