<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a suction system (5) e.g. vacuum pump, placed between a regulator (4) and a compressed air source (7), for maintaining an enclosure (1) at a threshold pressure. A solenoid valve (6) is provided for suction. The suction is performed, when the valve is open, such that an internal pressure of the enclosure is identical to the threshold pressure. A pressure sensor measures the enclosure`s internal pressure. A flowmeter (3) measures the quantity of air aspirated per time unit during the regulation of the pressure by the regulator, for calculating a leakage rate. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling sealing of a housing implementing an enclosure sealing control device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in automobile field for controlling sealing an enclosure such as engine block or gear box case, pipe segment, small dimensional enclosure e.g. flexible material pipe, and large dimensional enclosure e.g. chamber and tank, that is mounted on the vehicle and connected to a control device by a pipe. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The flowmeter measures the quantity of air aspirated per time unit during the regulation of the pressure by the regulator, thus allowing to calculate the leakage rate in a simple manner.
