METHOD FOR CONNECTING VIDEO TELEPHONY IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

A video call connection method in a mobile communication terminal is provided to subdivide a cause of video call connection failure to supply the subdivided cause, thus a user can exactly perceive the cause of the video call connection failure. If a video call connection request message is received from a particular terminal, another party to which a video call is connected is checked from the received message(401,403). It is checked whether the connected party subscribes for a video call service(405). If not, a connection failure message, which includes a code indicating that the connected party does not subscribe for the service among video call service state codes preset in a server, is transmitted to the particular terminal(413).
