<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fingerprint imaging device capable of stably and surely imaging a fingerprint in a desired range by securing a holding position of a stable fingerprint of a fingertip when imaging the fingerprint. <P>SOLUTION: The fingerprint imaging device is provided with an illadiation part 5 for irradiating light that can transmit a fingertip 17 from an irradiation window 14, a light receiving part 8 arranged opposite to the emitting part 5 to output an electric signal corresponding to the intensity of received light, a movable fingertip holding part 3 having a fingertip placing part 21 for placing an end part of the fingertip 17 and arranged slidably in a direction perpendicular to a light irradiation direction so as to be on a standby position and an imaging position between the irradiation part 5 and the light receiving part 8, a detecting means 6 for detecting that the movable fingertip holding part 3 is moved from the standby position to the imaging position and making the irradiation part 5 irradiate light, and a signal processing part having a storing means 35 for storing the electric signal outputted from the light receiving part 8, a processing means 34 for analyzing the electric signal and a displaying means 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
