PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable baggage to be left in/taken out of a coin-operated locker any number of times by charging coins into the coin-operated locker once. SOLUTION: This key system comprises: a passage switching lever 10 which detects the introduction of a predetermined number of coins into a charged coin passage 8 when the coins are introduced into it, and which guides the charged coins to the side of a deposit coin passage 9; an excess coin charge prevention lever 11 for inhibiting the excess introduction of the coin into the passage 9; a number-of-coins switching plate 23 which is opened via an engaging/disengaging pin 19 receding when a custom key Q is pulled out from a custom-key insertion cylinder 28 in a locked state, so as to drop the coin retained in the passage 8; and a resetting push pin 12 which makes a return retention bracket 16 opened after the use of the locker, so as to drop the coin retained in the passage 9.
