PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable grater having a cutting blade that is superior in work efficiency and sharpness regardless of fine or coarse grating. SOLUTION: The vegetable grater having a serrated cutting blade 22 is provided with cutting teeth 24c, 24d, 24e, 24f which are arranged longitudinally, transversely or in mutual proximity thereto relative to the cutting direction, by forming grooves in the top of the cutting blade 22 orthogonally (lateral grooves 23) or parallel (longitudinal grooves 25) to the cutting direction.
