PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transporting fish by which the fish in a live state can safely and quickly be transported without being influenced with the tilt of a transporting means such as a transport ship or a transport car and without damaging the fishes and to provide a crawl for transporting the fish. SOLUTION: Each gauge-shaped crawl constituent body 3 in which the fishes M are housed is immersed in water in water tanks 14 and 15 provided in the transporting means 1 such as the transport ship or transport car.
