<p>The invention relates to a method and device for supplying purified water to a water dispenser, which does not require heavy 19 or 20 litre carboys to be filled. Hygiene is guaranteed with said novel system for supplying purified water since the water used in the device is first packed in disposable plastic bags that are made from food-grade materials. According to the invention, the water-filled bag is positioned inside an upper container (2) and said container is rotated manually, thereby generating a downward rotational movement such that the bag is perforated with a bit (3). In this way, the bit (3) penetrates the bag and conveys the water to a lower container (5), without any leakage, solely through the holes (13 and 14) provided therein. The device is then ready to dispense water through the corresponding cock (6).</p> |
