摘要 The bimetallic elements (5), which are in each case allocated to one phase, act on a common slide (19) which operates a compensation bimetallic element (20). The latter is supported in a holder (22) such that it can rotate about a shaft (21). This holder (22) can be displaced against the influence of a compression spring (23), in the displacement direction of the slide (19), by means of an eccentric part (26), which is provided on an adjusting device (25) which can rotate. During normal operation, the compensation bimetallic elements (20) engages with a projection (29) on an operating device (28). The latter is supported in the housing (2) such that it can pivot and is subject to the influence of a toggle spring (37) which attempts to pivot the operating device (28) about its pivoting axis (28a). The operating device (28) is prevented from carrying out such a pivoting movement by the compensation bimetallic element (20). The operating device (28) has two laterally projecting bearing journals which are guided in bearings which are open towards the housing cover (3). If a response of the trip device (1) the operating device (28) [sic] is enabled by the compensation bimetallic element (20), then, during pivoting of the operating device (28), a contact spring (40) which can be bent in a resilient elastic manner is bent by said operating device (28), which results in a control contact opening. The operating device (28) is pivoted back into its normal position by means of a restoring slide. <IMAGE>
