A stackable container of foldable material with stacking spurs in the corners which can be laid on the container below it in a stack, whereby stacking spurs are formed in the four corners, each of which is made up of two spur sections connected with one another over a groove line and attached on its reverse side to the corresponding side wall in such a way that when stacked (i.e., when in use) it forms a square, hollow support together with the corners of the crate and when empty, as the result of lateral diagonal pressure from the inside of the crate, overcoming a dead center position, it is again laid flush on the crate corners, whereby the groove line (10.2) between the spur sections largely coincides with the corresponding corner edge. |
