PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to always provide latest information, and to edit and display by organically combining the information held by a user's terminal by itself and the information held by a server without the need of long time in obtaining the information and with small load for a network even if the obtaining information includes image information (specifically a dynamic image). SOLUTION: In order to display in a unified way the document information obtained from a WWW server 100 via, for example, the Internet 130 and updated as needed, and the document information held individually by a client terminal 120 side and not updated on a display 124 of the client terminals 120, a location of each piece of information comprising a display content is described in a common page description language (HTML). The document information obtained from the WWW server 100 and the document information held at the client terminals 120 side are displayed in a same display area of the display device 124 by using a browser (WWW browser) 121.
