The switching mat consists of two, facing, electrically conductive contact surfaces (1, 2) which are movable the one against the other. Between these are contact windows (4) in electrically-insulated buffer elements (3) the latter being perpendicular to the contact surfaces and elastically ductible. In the area of the contact windows (4), jutting contact nobs (5) are provided on at least one of the two contact surfaces (1, 2), with the distance between contact nobs (5) and the opposite contact surfaces (1, 2) (or the opposite contact nobs) when the switching mat is not charged being not greater than the elastic spring stroke of the buffer elements (3). The contact nobs (5) can be formed of bulges in a film forming one of the contact surfaces (1, 2). To produce the bulges, a difference in pressure is built up between the inside and outside of the switching mat after the sides of both contact surfaces (1, 2) have been sealed, so that bulges are formed in the area of the contact windows (4) on the inside. The bulges are fixed by means of a hardening layer of sufficient form rigidity applied to the outside.
|
