PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter suited for an intention of a photographer or characteristics of a film and an imaging element without damaging performance of a photographing lens. SOLUTION: An optical filter 2 is located on the camera 3 side between the photographing lens 5 and a film surface 6 or unillustrated imaging element, the shape of the optical filter 2 is made to be circular and, thereby, the optical filter 2 can be located in a space-saving arrangement without intercepting necessary luminous flux of the photographing lens 5. Further in a single lens reflex camera, the circular optical filter 2 is arranged between the photographing lens 5 and a quick return mirror 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
