PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature measuring instrument capable of measuring stably a furnace-inside temperature over a long period, without being affected by dust deposited in a measuring nozzle. SOLUTION: This temperature measuring instrument measures a temperature of combustion exhaust gas b discharged from an incinerator, a gasification fusion furnace or the like. The temperature measuring nozzle 31 is provided in a combustion exhaust gas passage 21 with the combustion exhaust gas b passed therethrough, and a radiation thermometer 32 is provided in a rear side of the temperature measuring nozzle 31. The radiation thermometer 32 is inclined diagonally upwards to position a temperature measuring view field E of the radiation thermometer 32, in an upper side of the center O of a tip opening part in the temperature measuring nozzle 31.
