PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually and automatically switchable motor-operated valve for easily confirming whether the motor-operated valve is put in a manually operable state or an automatically operable state at a job site. SOLUTION: This manually and automatically switchable motor-operated valve 1 is constituted for performing opening-closing by manual operation at the job site, and performing opening-closing by automatic operation from a place separate from the valve; and includes the valve 2, a manual handle 5 for manually opening and closing the valve 2, a driving force generating means for electrically opening and closing the valve 2, a driving force transmitting means connected to the manual handle 5 or the driving force generating means and transmitting driving force for opening and closing the valve to the valve, a connecting means for connecting the manual handle 5 or the driving force generating means to the driving force transmitting means and a lamp 7 interlocking with the connecting means, notifying that the driving force transmitting means is connected to any one of the manual handle 5 or the driving force generating means and arranged in the vicinity of the valve.
