PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press machine having a zero point correction device capable of considerably enhancing the pressing accuracy of a work. SOLUTION: The press machine having the zero point correction device comprises a pressure generation means 3 for generating the pressure, a conversion mechanism means A for converting the pressure by the pressure generation means 3 into the linear motion of a pressing ram 1, a position detection means 7 for detecting the position data related to the linear motion of the ram 1, a pressing condition setting means 8 for setting the pressing condition, a pressing condition storage means 9 for temporarily storing the pressing condition, a pressure detection means 10 for detecting the pressure, a zero point correction means 11 for commanding the zero point correction at a pressing origin under the pressing condition, a reference value storage means 12 for storing the position data when the press applies the pressure at the pressing origin corresponding to the command signal as the reference value of the pressing condition, and a correction control data storage means 13 for newly storing the correction control data such as the stop position by the reference value and the pressing condition as the pressing origin with respect to the origin as the initially set position in place of the data on the pressing condition.
