A kite comprising a plurality of natural bird feathers is disclosed. The kite includes a fuselage member shaped like a feather. In addition, the kite includes a fuselage support member which is secured to the fuselage member. The kite also includes a first and a second wing member, both of which are shaped like feathers. A first wing support member is secured to the first wing member and a second wing support member is secured to the second wing member. The first wing support member and the second wing support member are secured to or integral with each other and are secured to the fuselage support member.
