Apparatus for massaging the human body of the type comprising moving elements mounted on a casing which can be operated manually and which can be moved around on the surface to be treated. It is characterised in that: - the said moving elements consist of two rollers 3, 4 mounted on the casing 1 along parallel axles 5, 6, the periphery of the said rollers 3, 4 being tangential with the lower face 7 of the casing, one 3 of the rollers being driven in rotation positively, and the second 4 being associated with means allowing it to be separated from and brought closer to the drive roller 3 without, however, coming into contact therewith; - it comprises means allowing a pressure reduction to be created inside the casing 1 in the space contained between the rollers 3, 4. <IMAGE>
