A "semi-transparent" antenna (202) and Radio Frequency (RF) device (200) implementing the same. The semi-transparent antenna (202) gathers some of the RF energy in a carrier signal, but most of the energy in the RF wave does not couple into the antenna (202). Accordingly, because the antenna (202) minimally affects the electromagnetic Rf fields surrounding the antenna (202) even in the vicinity of the antenna (202), assemblies of objects carrying the RF devices (200) can be formed while maintaining acceptable communications with the Rf devices (200). |
