The invention relates to a method for detecting dental cavities, enabling the detection of dental cavities at a very early stage using especially simple means. According to the invention, the air or gaseous microflora in the oral cavity is examined and analysed for gas constituents or molecules typical of cavities and the result is then displayed. |
