The brake has brake pads (4a, 4b) that are pressed against friction surfaces (11a, 11b) which are to be braked. A brake caliper (2) e.g. pin-slide caliper, holds braking force (F) that is caused when braking. The brake caliper is formed as a multipart and has two shanks (2a, 2b), which are misaligned against each other in a normal direction running perpendicular to the friction surfaces. Adjusting devices (9, 10) are provided for moving the shanks that are relative to each other, and form a part of the brake caliper.
