A photovoltaic power generating apparatus is provided to accurately monitor and control even in various situations of generating capacity. A photovoltaic power generating apparatus includes a system duplexing apparatus(25), a GPS auto time receiving apparatus(60), an auto weather observing apparatus(70), and an image monitoring apparatus(80). The system duplexing apparatus(25) allows the other system to automatically switch a system in case of abnormality such as erroneous operation of the system at an engineering station(20), and operates and protects the whole system. The GPS auto time receiving apparatus(60) has a time data function by receiving GPS reference time to make identical accuracy of time for measuring and controlling the whole apparatus. The auto weather observing apparatus(70) measures, maintains, and repairs data of temperature, solar radiation, rainfall, direction and velocity of wind to have a weather measuring function and a display function. The image monitoring apparatus(80) has an image monitoring function of the whole apparatus, a visitor monitoring function, and an alarming function.
