<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorptive filtering material having biological and chemical protective function, in particular, protective functions against chemical and biological poisons and noxiants of chemical and biological warfare agents. <P>SOLUTION: This adsorptiive filtering material has a multi-layered structure comprising a first outer supporting layer, a second outer supporting layer, and an adsorptive layer disposed therebetween. The adsorptive filtering material has at least one catalytically active component, in particular, the first and/or second outer supporting layer having the catalytically active component.
