PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency power amplifier with high efficiency which has simple circuit configuration. SOLUTION: Input signals generated by dividing an input signal input from an input terminal 1 into two by a hybrid 3a are input to phase shifters 4a and 4b which makes phase shifts of opposite polarities with an input signal level detected by a level detector 1. Output signals from the phase shifters 4a and 4b are amplified by amplifiers 6a and 6b, whose outputs are input to a hybrid 3b having a reflection terminal R. Then the amplifiers 6a and 6b operate so that the output voltages hold saturation voltages with a reflection signal from the reflection terminal R, thereby operating to maintain high efficiency.
