PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component which does not require the installation of an insulating member between a magnetic core and the coil component. SOLUTION: The coil component 1 is equipped with the magnetic core 2 consisting of a magnetic material, a terminal electrode unit 3b, and the coil unit 3a consisting of a conductive material while the magnetic material and the conductive material are constituted so as to be contacted with each other. In this case, the coil component 1 is constituted so as to have a relation of R<SB>M</SB>≥20 Z<SB>0</SB>when the insulating resistance of the magnetic core 2 is shown by R<SB>M</SB>(Ω), and a peak impedance of the coil component 3a is shown by Z<SB>0</SB>(Ω).
