PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fitting for connecting a flat circuit body not coming off from a wire connection part, capable of surely caulking a conductor and improving connecting property. SOLUTION: A wire connection part 7 of a crimp terminal 1 has a bottom wall on which a flat conductor 3 of an FFC is mounted, and a pair of caulking pieces 10 standing on both end part of the bottom wall 9, caulking the conductor 3 in a manner of wrapping it. A plurality of serrations extending in longitudinal direction of the crimp terminal 1 are formed at positions outside of the position where bottom wall 9 of the conductor 3 contacts an inner surface of the conductor caulking piece 10. The part having the serration 12 serves as a transformation starting position when the conductor caulking piece 10 fastens the conductor 3 by a crimping device 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
