PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that the thickness of a base material is around 125μm, to be difficult to attain more ultra thinning, and that the working of folding or the like is impossible, although this kind of a thin type EL (Electroluminescent Light) sheet for illumination has been already developed. SOLUTION: This thin type EL sheet is constituted of a sheet base material 2, an EL light emitting element 3, a protective layer 4, and an external connecting electrode 5, and the EL light emitting element has a front face electrode layer 3a, a phosphor layer 3b, a dielectric withstand voltage layer 3c, and a rear face electrode layer 3d laminated and printed at the sheet base material. Furthermore, a non-laminated region 4a of the protective layer is formed at the near side of the EL emitting element, a keypad 8 for a push-button is laminated, and an adhesive layer 9 is laminated on the protective layer and pasted to a mounting substrate A by interposing a metal dome 10. Furthermore, a non-laminated region 3e is formed at the center of the EL emitting element, and the keypad is formed of a synthetic resin member of light-emitting uniformity with light diffusion.
