PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof guard capable of protecting a roof eaves part which supports a roof tile lifting machine or the like. SOLUTION: The roof guard for preventing the damage of the roof eaves part by the roof tile lifting machine or the like for transporting a roofing material to the roof, comprises a pedestal part and hook parts. The pedestal part has a fascia board side pedestal part and a tile batten side pedestal part, and the fascia board side pedestal part and the tile batten side pedestal part are turnably connected to each other. The hook parts are mounted on the opposite side to a connection part of the tile batten side pedestal part. It is preferable to provide at least one back face out of the fascia board side pedestal part and tile batten side pedestal part with a cushioning material and to mount a rotating member on the connection part side of at least one surface side.
