The invention relates to a motor vehicle seat comprising a seat cushion (1) that is fixed to a motor vehicle structure and has a rear supporting element (3) and a front displaceable supporting element (2), the displacement of the latter allowing the inclination of the seat cushion to be adjusted. At least one supporting element (2, 3) is guided in a guide (9, 19) and locked in a resting position by means of a locking device (4, 14). Said locking device (4, 14) is coupled to a control unit and in the event of an accident or an imminent accident, if corresponding sensor data exists, unlocks the supporting element (2, 3), releasing the latter to travel along the guide (9, 19) to adjust the inclination of the seat. |
